Updates From Francis

Francis Noronha has been the driving force in our struggle with All Saints Parish, the Bishop of Calgary, and the Vatican to save and preserve St. Patrick's Church, St. Basil's Church, and Our Lady of the Assumption Church.

He regularly keeps members of SOCA informed of developments in our quest to prevent the sale and closure of our three beloved churches, Through his tireless advocacy our members have remained firm in their resolve as demonstrated by standing room only on the two occasions in 2023 that Mass was celebrated once again at St. Patrick's Church since its closure on July 31, 2011.

We are deeply grateful for Francis's skill as an orator, writer, and motivator, as well as his courage, perseverance and steadfast belief that our Lethbridge Churches would be preserved.
